This is my card for CC687. Karen is our hostess and she chose calypso coral, peek-a-boo peach, crushed curry and pear pizzazz for her color palette. Dessert Option this week is to add a pocket to your card.
For my card, I used the Bouquet of Tulips die from CottageCutz to create a birthday card.
The tulips and vase are cut in 3 of the challenge colors. I think the colors make an attractive bouquet.
The background striped designer paper is from an older Stampin’-Up collection “Springtime Vintage”. I liked the stripes and didn’t want to cover them up completely, so I used vellum for another layering panel.
I cut the vellum panel with a stitched scallop die also from CottageCutz. Stamped my birthday sentiment and added a few crushed curry enamel dots to finish off my card.
Hope you can play along with us this week. Karen has chosen some lovely Spring colors and we are anxious to see what you will create with them.

Ah, Mary, what a lovely spring bouquet of tulips. I'm counting the vase opening as a pocket, so go have some dessert! I adore the vellum over the stripes; it adds a layer of lightness to an already happy card!

Wow, I love the dies! I might have to go shopping. I love th stripes you used in the background and the stitched vellum creates the perfect softness to bring the beauty of the bouquet into the spotlight. Fabulous card.
