I find the chirping of birds to be very comforting. I wake up in the morning and they're the first thing I hear....it's the promise of a new day...a hopeful sound. I stamped this image twice and watercolored...then cut out the bird using a scalloped die . I went around the edge with a copper pen and popped up the portion of the image. This will go to Robin.

Wow, Polly, a truly beautiful, beautiful card! Love the shade of green you have used for the card and the bird in amongst the flowers so lovely! On my way to check out this challenge now and, hopefully, get a chance to make a card. This goes into my favs!!

Sitting here with the window open listening to birds chirping! Wow, Polly, this is beautiful. It looks like painted fabric, full of texture. I love the copper edging on the scallop and the great way you used the bow die.

Your photo setups are getting really fun, Polly and they add so much. Beautiful, soothing nature themed card and the colors are so comforting as well. Very nice.

Oh my goodness, Polly, this is just stunning~ outstanding coloring, my friend. I agree with you completely about birds being comforting. I, too, love to wake up to the sounds of the birds and one of my favorite things is watching them at the feeders in our yard. Your card is going straight into my faves so I can remember to gaze on it again and again!

They DO sing a beautiful melody. I am so with you on that, and this little guy is so sweet, a lovely picture of art for the wall....TFS..:0)

I love the copper and real colors together with the touch of pink. This reminds me of the song, On the Wings of a Dove. There is nothing as calming as a card with nature. I can hear the chirping. Beautiful card.
