This card is for my daughter's dog to give to my daughter.
My youngest daughter suffers some mental health issues that are debilitating and part of a syndrome she has on the extreme spectrum
Nearly twelve months ago it was suggested that she get a dog as a companion, we have always been a cat family so I wasn't sure how this would go but the difference Jock has made to my daughters life is nothing short of a miracle.
The card covers three challenges.
CC686; Lemon Lime Twist, Melon Mambo & Black.
I did a watercolour wash of the green grading it out towards the top but first stamping the greetings and also the image, then masking the image where I wanted to colour. I coloured the images by scribbling marker colour onto a gloss tile then picking it up with the mop brush.
SC696; With the sketch I embossed the second layer and then sponged the edges for some detail.
F4A429; The Free for All Friday challenge was to do a girly card and with all the pink and hearts I think this is very girly lol.
Thanks for looking, happy stamping Marg.

Oh, so sweet, and how lovely to know that the dog has made such a difference to your daughter. I heard a really interesting radio program a few weeks back about a companion dog for an adult.

Ohhhh how FUN with the ombre inked setting for the sweet pup! I'm a kitty gal too, but certainly remember the dogs I've had in previous times. So awesome that your daughter is blessed so much by her dog!

What a sweet idea! My daughter also has mental health issues that are eased by the companionship of our dog. She would get a kick out of receiving a card from him! :-) Love that sentiment!
