I wanted to make a thank-you card to send to the pastor and his wife who looked after us so well last Sunday when we were in Northern Ireland for the day.
Stamped the image, sponged it. I didn't like the TH sunburst stencil as it had too wide a focus to suit this image, so I embossed a thin piece of acetate in the TE embossing folder and cut my own. Sponged the sky, added the sentiment. Trimmed it down after getting a smudge of black ink on it. Used the sand from Shore Thing and Hickory Smoke DOX to add a little texture to the foreground.
Cut a matting layer from white card, embossed with a wood ef and sponged with browns. Added photo corners punched from gold card and embossed with Cuttlebug Textile ef.

This is a beautiful card!!! I'm sure the pastor and his wife will really appreciate it. The morning sun rays are beautiful, and I love the gold embossed corners.
Oh, my! This is a stunner! Wow! Your sunrays are gorgeous! This morning I wrote in my thankfulness journal, "Thank you for new mercies every morning"! What a fun way to end my day by seeing this! I forgot about the mercies and focused on the problems a few times today.
