For Janelle's Not Your Average Puzzle MIXed media challenge. Not typical mixed media, but I used Sharpies, watercolour pencils and Couleur d'Art pencils, plus the sentiment is cut from a remnant of Tyvek, which I spritzed with some sea green acrylic spray to help it stand out.
I started by stamping and embossing the puzzle background, then stamped the woodgrain over it. Cut out two pieces and selected suitable little animals to go behind them. The background behind the owl is stamped with a Kittie Kits tree leaf in bundled sage, and then leaves from Trees Three in peeled paint, and I drew in the branch. I masked the mouse and sponged some grass, then stamped in the Kittie Kits leaf with frayed burlap. Added a little flower from Pocket Silhouettes, using markers to ink the stamp.
On the front I added a toadstool from the Stampendous Birch Tree set, and another Purple Onion animal. Popped the puzzled piece up on foam tape, and added the shadowed sentiment.

Sabrina, this is fabulous. I always love the details that you put into your cards. There's nothing you haven't thought through and completely finished. I'm glad you got to use your puzzle stamp today. It's so fun!
