I'm hosting the Mix-Ability challenge this week, and it's going to be "Not Your Average Puzzle" kind of challenge.
I chose to make my unique puzzle piece with the happy girl from the Technique Junkies stamp, Happy On.
I stamped and cut out the image then on the back side of a dried color burst spattered watercolor paper I traced around the image. Once I traced the image, I made lines for the rest of my puzzle pieces.
I *should* have started from the stamped image and cut my pieces around the image, so I had to make up pieces to fill in the growing holes, but in the end, it came out pretty much how I thought it would.
Join in the challenge with us! Play along with any kind of puzzle piece idea for your project.

Thanks for the fun challenge! I love puzzles of any kind. I haven't tried the ones with the special pieces you mention. I'll have to look. I love how you've created your own. Very clever!

This is so creative! It caught my eye immediately out of the gallery. Love the bright colors and that image is a smile-maker. This is brilliantly done.
