Fabulous sketch today! I had to move my tie embellishment to the side to accommodate my image. This is a birthday card for a friend who lives in Newport, Rhode Island and loves all things nautical. I found a picture of a Rhode Island lighthouse for a color guide. This is based on Castle Hill lighthouse. Isn't this stamp fabulous? I've never used it before. It's giant so I had to cut off part of the frame around it. It also has a lovely sentiment on it that didn't work for my card, so I masked that off. Out was really fun to color and I'm very happy with the results. I had to go on Pinterest to try to find a sailors knot and I think I did it right but it's hard to see with the twine I used. Then I finished off the card with an anchor eyelet and a simple little sentiment banner. I'm so excited about this card, I can't wait to give it to my friend. She's going to LOVE it!

A fabulous nautical card and I love that weathered wood in the background.
