So many challenges, so little time. It seems I'm always late to the party but I've decided to upload the cards I create for challenges even if the party is already over and everyone has moved on to the next celebration. I'm just happy to find time to do some creating - and get a few new cards uploaded.
The WT686 challenge to use patterned paper could keep me going for years to come - without ever going to a store. I loved this SU paper when I bought it - so much that I found it hard to use. That gives me the claim to the USEIT2018 challenge. I got lost in the Grandinroad website - pinned so many things that could make amazing cards - but it was this bedding - https://www.grandinroad.com/ledia-qu...covers/1153050 - that made me think of the DSP I used. And I used the photo as my sketch for my card. My unused Verve "Kindness Matters" stamps were calling to me and that fits the Crafters of Faith "kindness" challenge for May perfectly. Simple enough card - added some Stickles to the paper to jazz it up a bit - do people still use Stickles?
The card will go to a dear friend as a thank you.

Oh, I love that paper too. I still have some. Very nice use of the paper and, yes, I still use stickies when l can. I've been using a lot of old stuff recently and I don't know why. Guess because I haven't been able to but anything new in quite some time. Keep them coming.

Great job combining challenges. I have had to do that on occasion and you did it so well with this wonderful card. Totally love that patterned paper too. Thank you for joining in the challenge and showing us your hoarded DP.

Heather, it's great to see you jumping back into the challenges. Your card is beautiful and it does remind me of your inspiration. I think we all have so much paper that we'll never use it all.

This is gorgeous! Love how you added the sparkle to the designer paper (I still have this paper "in stock" as well). Love the angle on the front flap for the sentiment- perfect in so many ways! Thanks for sharing this beauty with all of us- hugs!
