The PB butterfly stamp has been on my desk for some time, so when I was tidying my desk on Saturday I stamped it on some watercolour paper with Morning Mist. Today I thought that I could easily do a WFD background on the stamped panel and then add colour. So that's what I did. Image coloured with Inktense pencils and some detailing added with SN clear glitter pen, Nuvo clear drops and Stickles. I also stamped a bit of Gorgeous Grunge in white. And while it's hard to see, I trimmed almost two inches off the front of the card, so that when it's closed you can see a script stamp running down the side of the card, and you can see it through the lace borders too. (HA script stamp, in Versafine Deep Lagoon. I should have paid more attention when I was taking the photo, and may update later if I get the chance.
I embossed the button border down the side and carefully sponged a little colour onto the buttons. And to finish I added a Beautiful Wings butterfly from the container of bits and pieces on my desk.

Another gorgeous card, Sabrina. I love the colors on the butterfly and the lacy side border. You are so full of great design ideas. This is like a fresh breath of spring.

What a soft & lovely bg you achieved for this collage stamp! (like Francie, I guess I continue to add and add because Tim Holtz said I could - LOL) Yep I am catching just a hint of that script through your border lace. Beautiful card.

What a delightful garden Sabrina! Love how the colors pop with your soft muted yellow WFD bg. The embossed buttons and Lacey rim give an overall vintage fell to your design! Love it all!

The distressing on the card panel and the lacy cut edge make this pretty background into a beautiful card. I love stamps like that that lay out the entire little scene for you. Beautiful coloring on it.
