On a separate piece of cs I stamped and colored (w/ copics) the hedgie and balloon. Stamped one sentiment on the balloon. Fussy cut them out (not as hard as it seems, you don't need perfection and sponging the edges with black helps it to look more "finished".)
On a separate panel slightly smaller than my cs, I adhered the 2 kinds of pp and a thin embossed strip of white cs as shown. Die cut my circle from this panel and also on another piece of white cs. On the circle from white cs I sponged a bg with DI while it was still in the die (love that look). I then splattered that pink with water, blotted, and added some white dots with a gel pen. Stamped the random sentiments on this circle and then adhered this to the main card front.
Popped up the panel with the pp on dimensionals, and did the same with the hedgie and balloon. Added a floss bow to the balloon and some punched hearts across the bottom.
I have done a series of cards with this stamp set and have had such fun. If you are interested, the others are here, here, and here.

I totally love your adorable Heggie and the great papers. The color combination is always a wonderful combination for cards. Thank you so much for playing along and sharing some of your hoarded DPs.

Such a sweet card - what's not to love about a PB hedgie. I know we're meant to be looking at the DP, but your lovely sponging, spattering and dotting is what really caught my eye - and that so-effective embossed strip.
