I made this for the Splitcoaststampers Fan Club Christmas Challenge! I've been having so much fun being a part of the challenge this year & the bonus is I'll have a bunch of Christmas cards finished in plenty of time for Christmas this year. It's a lot of fun & I hope you'll join us.
For my CAS Christmas card, I put a piece of sand colored card stock into my Misti then stamped the image. The holly & greeting are all one image, so it's easy to use. First I colored the holly w/ Copics then did a Prismacolor pencil overlay & added some white inside the lines above & below the greeting. Here's where the Misti is invaluable..lines tend to disappear when you use Prismas, so I stamped it again to bring them back. I masked the holly greeting & stamped the snowflakes w/ white pigment ink & heat set to dry. A few snowflakes were punched out of white glitter paper to add some sparkle.
Thanks so much for looking. Closeups & the inside are on my blog: The Write Stuff

Julie, what a beautiful card! I love your holly and your coloring (especially on the sand card stock). Beautifully done with the snowflakes and beautiful framing! I love it, my friend! Hugs! xoxo

Julie, the coloring of the beautiful holly is gorgeous! I love the sentiment that gives the perception that the holly is underneath it. The added snowflakes are gorgeous. The Christmas card is striking with the sand colored paper. Great card, Julie!
