This card is a 5*7 A7 sized card. I took two panels of 5*7 inch cardstock, one was Neenah Solar White 90 lb and the other was Oatmeal cardstock by Wplus9.
I took the roses from Best Mom Ever stamp set and using my MISTI aligned with the Oatmeal cardstock on top and Neenah Solar White (NSW) below it. I used the Simon Says Stamp Stone ink to stamp on Oatmeal cardstock and without moving my stamp, I stamped the roses and leaves at the exact same place on the NSW using Memento Tuxedo Black ink. That way, I had the same pattern on both the cardstocks. Next, I colored the roses and leaves with copics using V12, V15 and V17 for the roses and YG 17, YG63 and YG67 for the leaves. For the oatmeal cardstock, I used the Vintage Photo distress ink and did some ink blending inwards. Using a lighter bhand towards the centre. On both the panels I splattered some gold paint from Gansai Tambi and Seedless Preserves distress ink, just to add interest. I used the Simon Says Stamp (SSS) corbel curve due to create a pattern on the lower part of the card using a combination of glitter paper (again from SSS) and some olive toned patterned paper. I used a corner rounder punch and rounded all the corners. I carefully aligned the oatmeal stock on the front panel of my vertical top folding 5*7 inch card, and using my Lawn cuts stitched hearts die I cut a heart out of the copic colored panel. For alignment, I held the oatmeal cardstock (before adhering it onto the front panel of the final card) and NSW against the sun to get an idea of where I would want my heart to be for spotlight effect. I finished the card off with 'Happy Valentine's Day' sentiment again from SSS, some hemp twine on the top and some sequins from Pretty Pink Posh.
