I made this DIY Easter basket for my girls. (I made a different one for each, my Esther claimed this one!) We used them to egg hunt and everything. With that much use, they did eventually wear down, but for older kids who don't handle them as much these are great.
Also, they would not have to be for Easter.
These would make a wonderful welcome to the neighborhood basket filled with mini muffins, a welcome to the team basket filled with cards and goodies or other supplies, etc.
