Yet again, I was drawn to colors, this time in this image here.
This card actually came together pretty quickly, which for me is a minor miracle!! Die cut the balloon, cut the pp pieces for the bg, punched the black scalloped border and adhered all to card front. Stamped sentiment (I masked off the "happy"), die cut the word happy in both glitter cs and black. Layered the 2 "happy"s and adhered them together slightly off center to give the look of a highlighted layer. Attached this to the balloon and added die cut "string", bow, and sparkly dots.

that happy has so much depth, it really just POPS beautifully. fun colors in this one too Maura. I will have to remember that, stamping a shadow for under the diecuts

Ooh, I love those colors on your card and the inspiration piece, Maura! The big balloon and sentiment are fantastic! I love cards primarily created with designer papers!

Such a happy, cheerful, and colorful birthday card...LOVE the big balloon with the two-tone colored and layered dimensional sentiment...just pops off the page!
