I was inspired today by this hot air balloon postage stamp set. I know these are hot air balloons, but these balloons are floating in the air too!
This week is heavy on birthday for my family - we have 4 within 5 days! This is for my youngest granddaughter, who will be 12 - where does time go????
I stamped the balloons & punched them out. I didn't like how much white was left, so I ended up fussy cutting them. I turned them over, mixed them up & applied the twine with a glue dot & a pop dot. Then I turned it over & placed. After each row, I stretched the twine & secured on the back with scotch tape. I die cut the banner, 2 pop dots are in the middle, one on each end. This took a long time!! But I like it.
Fabulous site today Stacy. I hope to get one more card done that I have started. Birthday dinner tonight though.
Thanks for stopping by.

Oh, you'll have the opportunity to eat a lot of cake this week...lucky you. I can't believe your youngest granddaughter is 12. I remember when she was around 5 yrs. old and crafting with you. Yes, time flies!!! Love your polka dot and striped balloons...so fun.

I like that big bunch of striped and polka dot balloons against the cloud embossing. Great birthday sentiment. Have fun with all the birthday celebrations : )
