I was drawn to the colors and whimsical balloon theme in this image here and I am having so much fun with my new Penny Black stamp: Party Time!
Stamped hedgehogs and presents on white cs, and colored with copics. Fussy cut. Went back over the edges with the side of a black copic to cover any white edges. (It's not as hard as it seems - you don't have to cut it perfectly!) Added detailing with white gel pen.Die cut a frameBg: sponged DI, splattered with water and blotted, stamped hedgehogs where I wanted them, spritzed with shimme spritz for sparkle. Die cut frame and the insides of frame. Stamped sentiment on balloon and pink pp rectangle. Assembled all, and attached to card front with dimensionals.

Just so cute and fun, Maura. Very colorful as in your inspiration piece. I see you do exactly as I do with the Copic marker sideways when you fussy cut...sure gets any white specks left.

OOh I have looked at those kinds of frame dies and always toss them back out of carts because, I think what are you going to do with that when your stamps are bigger than the holes... lol.
so, I am really glad you did play with these stamps and dies it was very eye-opening for me and I love the colors and print mix a lot too!
