Sometimes you sleep on it and decide you just aren't happy with a card. And that is how it was with this CRAK I made the other day. It was OK, and I'll definitely send it to one of the shut-ins at my church. But I wanted it to be nicer for the teammate at work I made it for in the first place. So back to the drawing board - this time keeping it more CAS and less busy.
Since I was redoing it anyway, I decided to make a few changes to my post-it note as well, opting to use a peeking kitty instead of the party kitty and adding the "Just a note" sentiment. Since I love a soft pink paired with a bright green, I decided to do a green post-it and make my base light pink.
Embellished with just a few sparkly star sequins and called it done. Sooooooo much happier with this version.
I'm way late for this particular CAS challenge (CAS471), but am also tagging for that challenge as I used the colored base. (Technically, it isn't the base, but I think it is keeping with the spirit of the challenge that CAS doesn't have to mean white).
TFL!

Ah, Debbie, I love them both, but I know this is more your "style" and liking, which is good for you! Just love this sweet little Post-It note and the little kitty! Darling card, sweet friend! Hugs! xoxo

Another adorable card, Debbie - of course I liked both of them, but I know what you mean about just needing to switch something up a bit!! Added another hedgie to my set of Party Time hedgies - I don't have the mastery of the CAS style that you do, but I am having a blast with them!!
