This is the second card I created as a guest for Serendipity Stamps this month - thank you, Mary, for inviting me.
I love big sentiment stamps like this. Here I created a cling-wrap background using spray starch and some natural ochre pigments. Then I stamped and heat-embossed the verse, then dry-embossed and highlighted the frame. I added the branch (which is cut as part of the base matting layer and laid across the cling-wrap panel), and added a couple of little birds and punched and die-cut elements to represent the four seasons.
A full description and a link to an earlier post with some photos of the ochre quarries where I bought the pigments are on my blog HERE.

Sabrina, your background is beautiful! Love the ochre pigments, how cool that you bought them at the quarry they came from. I also love the blue "Byrds", and all of the elements for the 4 seasons. Lovely card, as always!

Gorgeous background, love the look of that technique. Your added branch with the seasonal elements and sentiment make for a beautiful card.
What a trip you had going to the Ochre quarries. Your pictures are breathtaking.
