I took some much needed time off from stamping, and I'm back tonight with this sweet and simple card for the CAS challenge. I bought this gorgeous flower stamp from Deadbeat Designs and I knew it would be perfect for this challenge.
I found a leftover piece of white cardstock from one of my die cutting sessions and it was the perfect size. It's the inside part of an arched window die - the part you normally throw away because you want the open window. I'd stashed it aside and lucky me! After I stamped the flowers onto this die cut piece, I colored it with Copic markers and matted it onto some black cardstock. I adhered this to a white card base, and then I wrapped some red ribbon around the bottom and forced myself to leave it alone. Gotta keep it CAS!! :-)

This "church window" look to highlight your poppies was inspired! I've used the negative space from some of my die cut words but never thought to use the negatives of other die cuts. Clean - Simple and simply amazing!
