Today Julie chose Suzy (Tootsy) as FS. CONGRATULATIONS Suzy, I hope you enjoy this time in the spotlight & the cards made in your honor. I chose this card & I'm so glad I didn't add the fold also (I have not done that fold yet!!) - this took me a long time as it was. I kept the rose & lattice theme & changed;
- background
- colors
- used the smaller rose in the set
- lattice work
First I took SN Aqua Pens & smeared onto a piece of plastic, spritzed with water & laid my w/c paper on. Added some extra color here & there & spritzed again dtp. Dried with the heat gun. I die cut the lattice & glued to the w/c paper. Die cut the roses & leaf sprig in black & shimmer white. I glued the black rose to a scrap & cut it out & using the inlay technique placed the shimmer white pieces. They are colored with the PP2 SN alcohol pen, some layers got more coats of color than other. The leaves are DG2, 3 coats of ink. I attached the rose with glue lines to be sure it would stay attached. It is now under something heavy on my desk as it's tending to bend. I'm not sure I'll ever do this again!! I think I definitely need a new camera that'll pick up the true colors!!
Thanks for stopping by.

She is so pretty! Really! You play transparency with your watercolor technique... It looks like a real stained glass window with its incrustations!
We can already say that we have one thing in common: the patience ! Thank you for taking the time to visit my gallery... TFS
