Thank you so much for the fun challenge, I combined the crimped diamond with a crimped pocket but not with an envelope but made a very easy pocket, Just put my card onto a sheet of folded white card stock, measured a bit larger to glue the bords and cut above the top of my card, the cut a same sized black border to close the pocket I don't got a crimp tool so used my Scorepal to make the score lines and used it for the diamond too, I die cut the football player and the shoes doodled with a white gel pen, and to embellish I used black and white bakers twine and a football shoe charm, I die cut a birthday sentiment and will give this my nephew!!

The texture you created as a bg for your soccer player is wonderful.....reminds me of the texture of a soccer ball. Great card for your nephew. You always use such creative formats.
