Showers make me think of rainbows and rainbows make me think of those *awesome* Lisa Frank folders and pencils I had and treasured as a gradeschooler. I remember being allowed to choose one or two school supplies from that brand was the best part of school shopping each year, and I treasured them to no end, so much so that I kept some of the folders nice enough that I *still* have them and use them to organize some of the training articles IÂ’ve saved over the years from horse magazines!
For my birthday last month, I treated myself to this amazing marbled background stamp and having seen this card (https://www.mftstamps.com/blog/january-2018-3/) created by the MFT design team at its release, I have been itching to re-create it ever since! (I even went and picked up a few distress inks – my first and likely not last – just to make this project!) I used the other half of the rainbow background panel I created for a birthday card (also uploaded to my gallery) to make a general pick-me-up card for someone who needs a little cheer. The sentiment is reserved for the inside alone (see inset) as I really wanted the front panel to just exude happiness in every way, without any attention detracted by a word or two that requires reading. ;)
Thank you so much for a great CAS challenge and the excuse to make this card!
Blessings,
C
