I first sponged a piece of white cardstock with my distress oxides (Cracked Pistachio & Mermaid Lagoon). I then cut a strip out for the bottom and used a die cut for the center. I found the heart die in my stash and decided to use it. Not sure who makes it. I then took a strip of black cardstock and punched it with the SU Heart Border Punch and adhered it over the strip of sponged paper. The red hearts were from the circle heart punch that I used around the circle.
This card was for our Crafters of Faith group on
SCS. I chose the scripture Psalms 37:4 "Delight yourself in the Lord and He will give you the desires of your Heart".

Tracie, this is a beautiful and touching card. I love the verse and your method of highlighting it with all the hearts. The black strip with die cut hearts and the blue background is lovely, and the blue ribbon is a wonderful addition. I love the colors used. This is such a wonderful card, Tracie!

I love, love, love the blue highlighting your hearts and sentiment. It draws your eyes to the sentiment and the ring of hearts. Beautiful card.
