Finally. I have been thinking for a couple days for an Idea for my dear brothers birthday. I was perusing the wonderful site, (could buy like half of it)...gotta save some for others....he-he....kind of funny, my final inspiration came from a prop showing another item...lol...Which is gorgeous....LOVE, LOVE the blue coasters, thats what caught my eye at first...so beautiful..here is my picture I got my inspiration from...https://carlyleavenue.com/collection...sters-set-of-4
I saw the Starbucks cup and after stopping craving a coffee, I thought my brother likes coffee, so will try making him a coffee cup card and send a gift card along with it. So being a masculine card it fits into the free for all challenge too.
I just cut a rectangular piece of paper and angled it the same amount on my cutter on each side. Cut a piece for the holder part and scored a slight bit on each side to fold over the cup so it looks like it is around it, a ( as my coffee cup is made from a thick cardboard piece leftover from a box chocolates I think. The lid I cut the 2 strips and just used my corner punch on the 2 corners, and raised them up with foam underneath. Then just sponged the edges to make it look more shadowy or 3d....
Thanks for the visit...:0)...

Oh my goodness, your cup looks more real than the real thing!!!! Thanks for describing how you achieved the realistic, 3-d look to the mug. So dang cute I want go reach though the screen and feel it and see how you put it together! Your brother is sure to get a kick out of this extra special cup-o-joe card - it will definitely help make his birthday better! Great card, TFS!

You created a fabulous, realistic coffee cup and added wonderful, masculine papers. I need to take a tip from you and remember that coffee images work very well for masculine cards!
