I made the bg with acrylic paint but first I glued the 2 pieces of an old book page with white glue and glued over this too, then I put some drops of acrylic paint and used an old credit card to swipe the paint, once dry I used the honey comb stencil to add the black ink, I stamped the butterflies on the bg and stamped them onto spam magazine paper it's difficult to believe that behind the big butterfly there's salmon with lemon and greenery, the small one was stamped on the tomatoes... then I sponged all around with brown pigment ink pad and finally used twine through the punched holes, the little salmon butterfly is a acetate butterfly
This was real fun thank you for the challenge!!

Anita, this is fabulous. I love all the texture. I can totally see how the pinterest photo inspired you. My eye was drawn to the yellow in the corner and the little bits of green on the butterflies. Thanks so much for playing along with my challenge. I hope you have a blessed day.

Beautiful! My goodness what a lot of work, but worth every moment. I was wondering how you got the twine so straight - passing them thru the holes was a great idea.
