Congratulations Jayne (Ozpom) on being today's featured stamper! I had never tried the reflection technique either so chose this card of yours for inspiration. I used the technique but changed everything else as I don't own a lot of "nature stamps" But I do have these elephants and they love water so here goes. I used a brayer to layer turquoise, royal blue and then purple for a night sky. Stamped my elephants and tree in black then stamped again on acetate which was then turned upside down and used to "stamp" the reflection. I watercolored the elephants then dragged lighter shades over the reflection. I also stamped some fern leaves over the edges to complete the frame. Once dry I covered the watery area with crystal lacquer which looks awesome IRL but was hard to capture in the picture.

Wow, and I love the reflection as well. Those are tricky to do!! I have never quite mastered them.

Wow, wow, wow Linda...straight into my faves. I would never have known that this was your first attempt at the reflection technique. It is gobsmacking awesomeness...LOL. I've now picked up a tip with the bg colour and brayer...thank you for that
Thank you also for your kind words and congratulations and for caseing one of my cards. It is truly an honour to see so many talented ladies caseing one of my creations. I'm speechless...which doesn't happen often LOL. Thank you again and TFS Happy Easter Monday
