My last card for March - another one for Ky's Upcycle MIXed media challenge. This has pencils, DOX and regular distress, distress crayons, Brusho acrylic shimmer spray, and some (redundant here) wax crayon.
The base was nearly going to be for my VSN peacock, but at the last minute I ditched it for a plain embossed black one. This one was embossed and then scribbled and buffed with gold distress crayon, matted on gold card.
The bird was cut to use on Sonja's card but was too big - this morning I stamped music on him and sponged on some colour.
The little grass strip is the last piece of a stencil monoprint (I think with Brusho), spattered with dilute Stickles.
The flowers were an attempt at crayon resist, now not featuring as Monday's TLC. One set ended up on my card for Lydia's challenge. The leaves from these are on my card for Melody's, so I fussy-cut the flowers today and added Prills (finally found a UK source). The die-cut leaves are a RAK. My desk is littered with ones I cut myself which didn't look right.
The ODBD sentiment is stamped on the last bit of a watercolour imprint piece from a TLC back in November - DOX inks spritzed with Brusho silver shimmer spray and French Flair left on it till it was dry.
