MIX270 Challenge - Upcycle - I have upcycled the cardboard which had already been cut, the butterfly which had already been embossed & die cut from a mixed media piece of glossy card, the sentiment had already been stamped and cut using the die cut - all these were in my scrap box.
Inspiration Challenge - Signals. Here was my inspiration -
My inspiration was the butterfly & text - I have had this dp for quite some time! The rest is pretty self explanatory. I sponged all the edges with tea dye ink.

A scrap box is a wonderful thing to have, Sue. Love your card and I really like the use of the cardboard. Beautiful butterfly.

Wow, I have never seen anything like the butterflies in the inspiration. Can you imagine the surprise of the butterfly floating up when someone opens the book??? Cool. Your card is gorgeous!!! Love the color and texture of your wonderful butterfly! You gave it a fabulous backdrop with your layered papers!
