Here's my card for Melody's Lilac VSN Challenge. I love lilacs, so I'm surprised to have no lilac stamps. This was the only one I could find. I guess it's because i don't like purple--lilacs are all about the fragrance for me. I've combined the challenge with Ky's Upcycle challenge today. I used a painted background that I had in my leftover basket, and an embossed piece of wax paper that I used when I was doing a wax paper embossing resist background. I thought it was too pretty to throw away. I also used some scrap ribbon and ric-rack from my mom. And finally a white stitched square that I saved after cutting a frame. I've come to the conclusion that i need to work on actually using the things in my leftover basket. It's full.

Beautiful, Jenn! Love your card design with the stamped flowers and sentiment strip across the middle. Such lovely lilacs. I like the dots, too. Good for you using so many things out of your leftover basket! Great card. Well done! TFS

Yes, they smell gorgeous, don't they - though I have a couple of friends who can't stand the smell. I always think it's a shame they go over so quickly though and just look tatty and brown. Stamped ones are much better :D, and these ones are so pretty.
