I would really love your comments on my card /scans (2) ( one front . one inside) anyway when I was making this invite all these ideas were coming to my mind on making it a themed HA party But as far as decorations I was thinking of getting a few things at Oriental trading in the pirate theme such as the eye patch and etc.. and I have no ideas for the food to be served I was thinking this year I would do a party sub But not really sure now with the theme I have going now .. the part of my invite that says " come and find your treasure from the past " I will be selling my retired sets at this event so this is what this is talking about ( in a around about way ) Please share your ideas on what things I could do and serve to go with the theme some what and I would really love ideas for games . please I would need details

This is the cutest idea ever!!!! I'm going to think of some treats for you to serve...Pirate's Bootie from Trader Joes might be a start. I'll have to brain storm, but I'm sure there are lots of goodies you can serve. Try to google a pirate themed birthday party. I'm sure tons of ideas will come up then.

Love your invitation, this set, and the whole idea! Here's a couple of food ideas:
*Goldfish crackers
*Peg legs (carrot sticks)
*Cannon balls (globe grapes)
*Red Rubies (strawberries, cranberries and cherries)
*Gold and Silver Hershey nuggets
*Golden candies (butterscotch)
*Chicken legs
*Seaweed Pasta (Green Linguine)
*Treasure Salad (add dried cranberries, golden raisins and pecans in the salad or whatever "treasures" your family likes)
You could serve the party sub, too. Just put it on a "plank" and you're set. You could make paper sails with squares and bamboo skewers and turn the sub into a three (or more) masted ship.
To drink -- pirate grog. Pretty much any punch you like will work.

For food how about "melon-cannon balls" and cheese puff cannon balls? Of course you have to serve "grog" (pirate drink). For dessert you could get chocolates like treasures or nuggets.
Oooooooooh, I love everythign about the inside too! Debistringer and the others have some great ideas! I posted mine (very simple) on the other picture.

OH my goodness girls You all rock with Ideas I just knew you all would come through for me .. Please keep them coming .. I just want to share that we did at my last years HA party I blind folded one of the girls and she had to put the pure and simple alphabet in abc order ..WHAT A HOOT ..I also had stampin relay which I am not to sure I will do that again this year since I really wanted them to stamp the card simular to the sample I pre made ahead of time and they just stamped so "can I say fast and didnt take any time to making it a really cute and useable card" .. they more so just wanted to win the race, which was fine and still alot of fun . But I like the stamping blindfolded idea Now just to figure out what card to have them stamp or maybe I could have the best one that stamps out TREASURE in the most perfect line be a winner I dont know ..I also love all your ideas for food / names .. cannon balls ( cheese balls ) I could also have chicken drumsticks and call them Pirate legs .. who knows ..I just so appreciate all your wonderful and creative ideas cant wait to see more .. you all ROCK! I am so excited ..
Thanks so much

With Pirates of the Carribean coming out in July there should be lots of things available including gold coins,I know that m&ms have come out with golden nuggets(peanut m&m's) as well as gems (regular m&ms) especially for this movie.
