This has a crazy background because it was from a color inspiration challenge...lol...
This StampinÂ’ Up! Sitting Here sponged card from our weekly color inspiration challenge, was a bit of a challenge! Pun intended! LolÂ… my friend mentioned that the colors inspired by a sunset scene were difficult, and unless you create a sunset scene, she was right. Our goal is to have the submitted card obviously derived from the inspiration! As it turns out this was not easy when you are looking at yellow, oranges, purple, and a black silhouette!
I am so excited to see what everyone creates! I laughingly told her thatÂ’s why itÂ’s a challenge! For this card just start with an A2 black card base at 8.5″ x 5.5″, scored and folded in half at 4.25″. The Wisteria Wonder layer is cut at 5 1/8″ x 3 7/8″ and the next black layer is 5″ x 3 3/4″. The top white sponged layer is cut at 4 3/4″ x 3 1/2″. Next, stamp the bench, the flower pot, and the sentiment.
I stamped the pillows in Momento ink, colored them with blender pens, and cut them out with paper snips. I attached the pillows to a basic black card stock and fussy cut around the edges to create a border. Pop them up with mini dimensionals and remember to make your envelope pretty!
