Had fun making this for the t-pot tuesday tickle week. Its all about spots, and what better then a polka dotted dress. So I stamped it on the dp and cut it out and glued it over top of the girl and fussy cut the girl and placed her over the sponged clouds, which I did using a paper towel and sponging on the ripped side of that. All the flowers were fussy cut from Mary Englebreights paper. I did the fold not sure if its called anything I just used the score pal. Did the layers and had the strip match the young girls dress....so ai hope it can cheer a fellow t-potter and remind them to be happy, no matter the day.
Thanks for the visit and have a super dotty day...:0)

Very stylish and elegant, and such a great fold to use, Wanda. It makes me think of a closet, so that I think she must have more pretty dresses inside. I've always been a big fan of polka dots myself. I still have a summer dress I made - ummm, 25 years ago now, could it really be - blue with white spots and because it's drip dry, no iron, it's still a holiday standby. Your lace-edged borders look just beautiful.

Wow! This is quite the gorgeous card! I love this beautifully dressed and coiffed young lady walking among the flowers and butterflies. I am really impressed with how you made your cloudy sky. I have never done this before, but I intend to try it. I am also very taken with the lacy border that you have punched and scored so nicely. Your card is beautifully designed and a pleasure to admire. ~Karen.

Your fussy cutting and paper piecing is flawless. Everything about this does reflect the Be Happy sentiment, and some lucky teapotter will be happy to receive it.
