This is my first card as Guest Designer on Robin's team. I am so thrilled.
Francie's challenge was to use alcohol on our cards. I have 3 bottles of alcohol ink and solution for a long time. Thanks for pushing me out of my comfort zone.
I watched several Youtube videos by Jennifer McGuire before I started. The technique I chose she used a straw to move the ink around.
After it dried I cut a frame out of Glossy paper. The flourish and smile are also cut from Glossy, but I also cut two more out of Thick white to give it dimension. TFL

Yay big congratulations on being a Guest Designer on Robin's fun team Carolyn. I am a huge fan of your work and have purchased many stamps thanks to you! I digress, now about your card...wow it is fabulous, I never would have guessed you were out of your comfort zone. I love your choice of dies, they look beautiful without detracting from the terrific background.

So glad to have your beautiful card as one of th e samples, Carolyn. Your alcohol bg looks lovely...it looks like it is moving as I look at it. The glossy white looks so pretty against the soft greens.

Beautiful card, Carolyn, and congrats for being Guest Designer. We both used a Jennifer McGuire tutorial today. Love your background and pretty die cut. I've used that straw blowing technique before and it is so much fun.
