Carla's challenge for World Water Day was to use either water on our card or water in the image. I went to my Evernote catalog of stamps and searched "water". And I thought this was a perfect image for today. Then I went to Pinterest and I searched "garden quotes" and came up with this lovely one. I had trouble choosing a font today and I'm not sure if I'm very happy with it. I think I need to go in with a pen and fix the p in "pull". It's very hard to read. And for World Water Day, I finished off with a watercolor wash for the ground and some water splatters in the sky.

Oh, Jen, she is a cutie, and I love how you've colored her dress and pinafore! Darling sentiment, and perhaps you will use a pen to close up the "p" in pull. But it's beautifully done with the water!! I love it! Hugs!

This is so sweet with that cute little girl and her watering can. Lovely coloring and beautifully sponged clouds. Perfect image and sentiment. Thanks for playing in my challenge, Jen.
