I decided it was time to revisit the Vintage Watercolour tutorial, which I don't think I've used for a couple of years. I didn't have time to spend doing a lot of masking as in the tutorial, so I thought this image would work quite well. It's stamped on watercolour paper with Walnut Stain, then I followed the tutorial. As well as spattering some blue ink I also used the spatter from French Foliage. I masked the image off and stamped the ledger from Open Sea in stormy sky. I added a sentiment from ODBD, heat embossing it.
To finish the card, I framed it with narrow strips embossed with Pinewood Plank ef and lightly sponged with antique linen. Aftering mitering the corners I pierced them, added some gold, and then "varnished" the whole frame with Crackle Accents. It was fun to revisit this technique.

Sabrina, you couldn't have chosen a more perfect scene for the technique you used. This is lovely, and so well done! Such amazing details right down to the fabulous framing.
