Don't ask how I got to this site from the Aquarium site, but I did & I chose Hunting Bubbles for my inspiration. I thought that would make a nice sea life background, so my bubbles are not methane!!! In order to find my inspiration I had to do a search of my history from 9:30 am! What a chore!
I created my background first by using the brayer & Night of Navy ink. I smoothed out some of it with sponging. I sponged on the Teal/Turquoise & Sand colors. I remembered I had these old Cuttlebug dies & die cut the seahorses, sand dollars & starfish. I remembered Stacy said live sand dollars were light lavendar, mine are pale plum. To make my non-methane bubbles, I used watered down white acrylic paint & splatters on using a sun-ray stencil.
That's my story & I'm sticking to it!!!
Thanks for an interesting site Stacy.
Thanks for stopping by.

Oh, what a great card. Love your ocean, bubbles and everything other thing under your water. I know what you mean about having to look in your history. I was digging in mine this morning for something I was reading yesterday.Ha

Great underwater scene....I love your bubbles! And the pale plum sand dollars are a pretty contrast to the other colors. I like your write up...yes, I know how it is going back to find something you were looking at...lol

Fabulous! Love the beautiful under the sea background with the colors and the bubbles. The die-cut elements are terrific. Love the two seahorses swimming along together. This would make a good anniversary card or a friendship one. Lots of ways to use it. Great card to have on-hand. Wonderfully done! TFS
