I used white strips, rubbed ink pads down the length, then embossed them with wood grain, added more ink, cut the ends with decorative scissors, and sponged the edges with vintage photo ink. I put them together on the card as a wonky old fence and added nail heads with a pitt pen.
I stamped the bird 3 times and used 2 to color parts and cut them out and layer for some dimension.
