A "wee thing" for Jean's MMTPT challenge this week, going to Anna in Illinois.
Jean mentioned ladybirds - I have one, as well as what must be the minutest bird in existence if they are in scale. I made the purple one for Anna and the green one for my stash - after Lisa's recent 3D paper piecing challenge I want to make sure to use my glue up before it sets in the tube.
I'll add a photo showing dimension in the challenge thread. I think there are four layers on the teddy, plus the base. He's coloured with Polychromos pencils, Glossy Accents on the ladybird, Liquid Pearls for flower centres.
The frames are cut from an old cereal box, embossed (SU square lattice, purple, Cuttlebug Textile, green), gessoed and then coloured with gelatos. I popped them up on foam over the 3D bears. The purple base is just plain, the green one has been embossed with SU's pine planks (?) ef.

Wonderful details in your description, Sabrina. You really reach for new ideas and techniques and then master them so well. Gorgeous, wee bear and bird! So lovely. Thanks for being a great member of our team and a wonderful far-flung friend.

I agree adorable to the max...they look like baby Winnie the pooh bears. I will have to look up lady birds, dont recognize that name of them. At first I thought another name for lady bugs...hmmm...these little guys on your cards here are so tiny and cute. Cereal boxes...c;ever way to use them up...should save mine now....leaves a cool texture...TFS..:0)

Both cards are absolutely adorable Sabrina. I love reading how you made these cards and I love all the texture and dimension you add to your images too. The way you have framed out these small images is something I do not think to do, and I love it! Both cards are fabulous, but I have to admit you may be enabling me with the pine plank embossing you did on the green card. Anna will flip when she receives your adorable card in the mail Sabrina! ~Karen.

I love the sweet bear-in-a-pot and the its ladybird friend! Great coloring! I love the way you used a decorative frame to frame the image and popped it up! Great card!

Great idea for making an extra card---have read where they say to do this in assembly like and then add sentiment later and have spare cards when needed. Great image of bear in pot---I have a cat in pot but bear is darling with the bird looking at him so intensely like in a conversation and saying pay attention to me. Sweet cards and great die cut frame!!!!
