The most difficult part of making this card was creating the background. I used foam egg shaped smoothies to pick up just a touch of color from the Distress Oxides and then removed some of the ink on scrap paper before lightly rubbing it over the deeply embossed paper. I repeated this process with the different colors, making sure not to get too much color on the background and most of it on the raised letters. The sunflowers were cut from different color card and highlighted lightly on the petal tips with a coordinating distress ink.
