Kandie it this month's Tickle a Teapotter hostess. My card was inspired by her beautiful story and fabulous teapot!
It seems so appropriate to use a "gift" from another Teapotter for these challenges. Angie (ohmypaper!) sent me some Julie Nutting images last year. This one was perfect to dress up for a tea party. I colored her face, hair and boots with alcohol markers and colored pencils. Then traced over the doll with tissue paper to create a pattern, and cut out her dress. Added some details with a Pitt pen. Stamped a hat and purse, colored with alcohol markers, fussy cut and dressed her up. Just like playing with paper dolls way back in the day!! Stamped the hello and colored to match the dress and Kandie's pretty teapot. Added some yellow dots and mounted the panel on a black cardbase. TFL

This is darling Carla! I really like that you made your own pattern so you could paper piece her dress...it's snazzy! And the hat and purse are very fashionable! Super cute!
