Of course I know the paper piecing technique, don't we all? But I watched the excruciatingly detailed tutorial video and learned a few new tricks. The photo doesn't quite show it, but everything except for the candles is paper pieced. I loaded on the glue after making sure the image edges were black and the curling was properly done.

What a delicious card and a wonderful job with the 3D paper piecing! It's fun and is a great idea to make an extra-special card. This must be even more sweet IRL! I love it!! Hugs!

Ah, I know how hard it was, even in the detailed photo, for me to really show the dimension, so I can imagine how super this looks in real life. And what a beautifully decorated cake!
