This is my card (open) for the alpha challenge round 9, letter B. I used blue ink and DP. Part 2 was to include a banner, which I attached underneath the sentiment.
I think this type of pop up is one of the most impressive, while still being fairly simple to make. Although it can be made without die cutting the flowers, I decided to use a die to cut mine. Apparently, I don't count very well. Ideally, you need a flower with 8 petals, which I thought I had, but... oops, there were 10. Since I had them all cut and ready to use, I decided to see if they would still work. I needed to remove 2 more petals, and then it was workable. However, I did notice that, since there are more petals, they are not quite as wide, and the card doesn't open fully. But still impressive. Learning from my mistakes.
Great instructions for making this type of card can be found here.

Amazing, Melody! Now I want to try it but I don't have any 8 petal flowers. I have 5 and 6 petal flowers. Hmmm, will have to contemplate. At any rate, your card is amazing!

Awesome pop-up inside! Love the bold blue and the beautiful array of flowers. Good for you making it work and learning something new. Looks terrific! TFS
