When I think of antiques, I think of the old quilts I have collected over the years. I decided to try and create one using woven paper strips cut from an old magazine. Yesterday's F4A was 'Recycle' so it all came together well.
The strips are 1/4" wide...simple weaving like we used to do in school.
thanks for looking, https://snippets-karen.blogspot.ca/2...r-weaving.html
edited: it really didn't take that long to create...I glued the strips at the very top to hold them in place then I could easily weave the rest in from the side.

Wow.....what a super job with your quilt doing paper weaving, Karen. I'm glad you liked the site today and it sounds just perfect for you. Your branch really shows in front of your quilt. This really looks like fun.
