This is the las tof the three cards for the Mini VSN "How Does Your Garden Grow." found here; Forums at Splitcoaststampers
I started this card last weekend for the Inspiration challenge using images from Schreiner's Iris Gardens finishing it off this week for both the VSN challenge to use a bug and the inspiration challenge.
I had no Iris stamps and wasn't sure if I would watercolour or not so found am image in google clip art and using my light box traced the image or part there of onto my card that I had already created a background on using distress inks and the slap and squirt method.
I coloured the image with pencils stamped the little dragon fly onto the image then added vellum wings and some heart shaped gems, the stamped the greeting took 42 minutes despite having lots of prep done, loved doing this and I'm so glad I was able to use it.

In every way, a piece of art - the patience to do the tracing... You've done such wonderful work with this card. Beautiful colors on the background. That sweet dragonfly is charming. TFS and for giving such detail on how you've made it.
