This is for ShirleyÂ’s Free 4 All Challenge to recycle it.
I used a page from an old desk top calendar. The butterflies came from a birthday card two years ago. They are very sparkly. As my own bonus, I used cardstock in a long retired color – Summer Sun and a pre-stamped & punched greeting. This card will go to a lonely senior citizen. She’s too far to visit, but I do send her cards which she loves to receive. Her favorite color is blue, so I always add something in blue. I enclose some corny jokes that she can tell at church and the senior citizen center; such as – Why did the boy throw butter out the window? He wanted to see the butter fly. Ha, ha!
Terrific challenge. TFL

OH yes, a calendar page is a wonderful thing to recycle!!! I love the movement in the field of flowers, so cool. I also send cards often to elderly folks. Honestly, they appreciate them more than others so I get something out of the deal too. ;) I’m sure she will love the joke.

...sure its got a catchy beat, but can you stamp to it?

Definitely too beautiful to throw out, and I love how you added the recycled butterflies, too! What a gorgeous card , you must make this lady's day when she receives your cards in the mail, Diane!
