I saw a beautiful card done by Michelle Last (UK) and had to try it for myself, making only a few small changes to my version.
Stamped Lovely as a Tree in black Stazon on watercolor paper, then used daubers with Pumpkin Pie and Daffodil Delight for the sky and Smoky Slate and Daffodil Delight for the shadows under the trees. Fence posts are done with the very tips of the Gorgeous Grunge long multi-lined stamp in Early Espresso, then lines drawn across with Early Espresso and the fine point of an Aqua Pen, along with a narrow wash of Espresso under the trees. I turned it into a sympathy card, sentiment is from Rose Wonder. Crumb cake layer is embossed with Pinewood Planks.

I too really like the addition of the fence line under your Lovely Trees! Beautiful sunset. I always like that imagery for Sympathy cards. They are not easy to make but this one is really a winner!

Thanks. I showed this card to some of my private class ladies yesterday and all the oohs and ahs were great, but they seemed a little intimidated to try themselves. I can see why...it looks like a lot of work, but it really wasn't. We're going to do this card when they come again for class in 2 weeks. Michele's excellent design and tips made it easy for me to recreate and change up for the look I wanted.
