This is my card for this week's featured stamper who is Susy (Boss). I have been through Susy's gallery several times and I have many of her gorgeous cards bookmarked for future reference. I realized this afternoon that I need a birthday card right now so I chose this fun card of Susy's to case: Gee Thanks! - Bird on a banner by Boss at Splitcoaststampers. This card feels like wash on the clothesline in the springtime. I do not have this wonderful clouds ef that Susy used so I sponged in a cloudy sky instead. This is much more vivid in real life than it shows in this photo. I just used scraps of dsp for the banners and cut the ends with the SU bitty banner punch. The bird is die cut from white cs, then colored in with copic markers. I am not artist at all, so this is about as good as it gets with me. The sentiment is one straight line so I did my best to get it on two lines (no stamps were harmed in this process). Thank you for the wonderful inspiration Susy; I hope you are enjoying your well-deserved week in the spotlight. Thanks for looking. ~Karen.

Your little robin is adorable! I saw a robin on Tuesday, so doesn't that mean that spring is on the way? I love the idea of using up little bits of dp, and those patterns you chose are sweet. Your sponged clouds are very well done, as is your sentiment on two lines!

Fabulous case, Karen! Love the twine with the hanging banners. Lovely Springtime papers. What a sweet bird. I like the subtle sponging of the sky with the added die-cut clouds. Your card is so cute! Terrific for a bird-day card! Well done, my friend. TFS

Karen, this is the sweetest card and a wonderful case, too. I love your robin on the line of pretty banners. I thought clothesline, also. Great job sponging those clouds, too.
