I created this card for "Be Kind" day, which will be on March 9. My plan is to write a short encouraging message inside, and give it to someone anonymously, just to brighten his/her day.
I stamped the bear in Rich Cocoa ink onto kraft cardstock. After I die cut him with the coordinating die, I shaded with a couple of brown Prismacolor pencils. Then I went over the eyes & nose with a black glaze pen, and the mouth with a fine-tip black Micron pen.
To give him something to hold, I stamped an envelope from "Acts of Kindness" with Soft Granite ink onto white cardstock. I used Lady Bug ink to stamp a solid heart in the middle, & then fussy cut it out before gluing it into the bear's arms.
For the background, I just embossed a panel of navy cardstock with the "Honeycomb" folder. I also embossed a strip of yellow with the coordinating border folder. I stamped the greeting from "Acts of Kindness" in Navy ink onto a strip of light blue cardstock. I cut the end of that & the yellow piece at an angle, and adhered them to my background. I added a couple of staples with my Tiny Attacher. Finally I glued my bear in place & adhered the card front to a white card base.
