I cut apart the star quilt pattern papers from the Quilt dsp, getting 4 stars from each 6x6 piece. I trimmed each square a little closer to the 8 points then mounted them on 3x3 white squares. Next I ran them through the Big Shot using the Quilt embossing folder, then glued to the card front.

Thank you both. This was a library class project and the thought of giving the ladies all those tiny quilt pieces to match up made me a little nervous. By using the printed quilt blocks from the DSP, it made a 'faux' quilt panel which was much easier for them to work with. The quilted embossing folder hid the cut edges and actually made it look more quilted.
