This was a really tough sketch for me. But I had it all planned out as a cute Easter card with my Gerda Steiner February image, and then I realized that I lost that image.
I still have everything all cut and ready to go for that card though.
I stopped at CVS last night because I needed some chocolate. So of course I went looking to see if they had any valentine's chocolate on clearance. They did not. But they did have this kit of "Etch Art" valentines for kids. I thought my boys would enjoy them, but I also thought that they would be really fun on kids birthday cards and I needed a card for a six year old girl. I scratched one off and showed it in the photo for reference. It has a swirly design underneath the black, so I used this swirly background stamp--which I have fallen in love with! I stamped it in pink and purple and then embossed it with glitter EP, because glitter makes everything better. I'll also include an extra valentine (mounted on some cardstock, so you can't see the back) inside the card. Fun!
